Be Yourself, no matter what...
Another piece from my Jacquard Fusion series.
The series explores themes of intersectional feminism, female agency, and the transformation of patriarchal structures. Text fragments are woven directly into the fabric — functioning both as statements and as impulses, becoming textile manifestations of feminist perspectives.
The intricate textile structures of garments and floral elements require a highly complex translation into jacquard programming. The result is a layered image in which digital composition and material behaviour interact.
"Be yourself, no matter what they say!"
Stretched on canvas and framed, the jacquard weaving becomes a textile art object.
