Darling
Another piece from my Jacquard Fusion series.
The series explores themes of intersectional feminism, female agency, and the transformation of patriarchal structures. Text fragments are woven directly into the fabric — functioning both as statements and as impulses, becoming textile manifestations of feminist perspectives.
Complex woven structures translate floral elements and the female figure into a layered textile image. Digital composition and jacquard programming interact to create a surface in which material and meaning are inseparably connected.
“Although I am a gentle person, I will not behave myself. That is not a contradiction.”
Stretched on canvas and framed, the jacquard weaving becomes a textile art object.
