Entangled

The textile surface constructions were developed on a Singer flat knitting machine.

In these first experimental studies, very different types of yarns were knitted, in each case under the same conditions. The aim of this work is to sound out the optimum machine settings for the different yarn types. These settings were documented, so that conclusions could later be drawn on to process similar materials.
