Collaboration with artist Gloria Sogl for her "Where the gaze softens" series in 2025. 

These jacquard-weavings are very special since, out of nowhere, there are these transparent layers, that do not cover what lays beyond them. Underneath the cover, the main jacquard weaving continues.

With this artwork, the transparent layers seem like water upon the weaving...depending on the light that falls on them...

​

Gloria and I developed a vision of the floating motives underneath their covers. A really great project to be part of!

The work with her is very inspiring and brings the best jacquard skills out of my work.

These weavings are part of the art exhibition "Textile Installation" at the "Weyertturm" in Straubing/Bavaria.

They are part on the exhibition of Gloria`s art award "Kulturpreis der Dr. Franz und Astrid Ritter-Stiftung für Bildende Kunst" 2025.
